In the 21st match minute, Cup2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mladen Pashov to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rafael Sobis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Moreno was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Rafael Sobis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Eliseo Moreno made a huge save. Rafael Sobis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Eliseo Moreno 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Sobis came free, but Eliseo Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo Mello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Urbano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Sobis in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Moreno saved Cup2 from getting behind. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Cup2 got a freekick which was hit by Téo Mello. Cup2's Argir Tishinov was substituted for Hristo Pisanov. In the 66th minute, Téo Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeri Hadzhisotirov, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Sobis in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Moreno saved Cup2 from getting behind. Krzysztof Skoroda hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Cup2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eliseo Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cup2's zone, Rafael Sobis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Moreno came out of the goal and Rafael Sobis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
