Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 8 minutes ЦСКА's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Georgi Tasev who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cup2's corner Georgi Tasev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anzhelo Gerushin quite easily take care of the ball. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Mello in the 9th minute of the match. Krzysztof Skoroda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Anzhelo Gerushin made a huge save. Anzhelo Gerushin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Téo Mello in the 20th minute. After 24 minutes, Venko Loginov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ЦСКА and the Cup2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Venko Loginov got a free kick in the 24th minute. Téo Mellos short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Anzhelo Gerushin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Skoroda got free with Anzhelo Gerushin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krzysztof Skoroda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Anzhelo Gerushin made a huge save. A collision led to Cup2 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Téo Mello hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, Cup2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koldo Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Levent Gervazov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anzhelo Gerushin. Levent Gervazov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Trayko Trendafilov got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

61 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Skoroda came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Gervazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ЦСКА defense, Krzysztof Skoroda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anzhelo Gerushin. The ЦСКА fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anzhelo Gerushin should have stopped the shot. Anzhelo Gerushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Gervazov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Skoroda came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cup2's Valeri Hadzhisotirov was substituted for Levent Gervazov. In the 73rd minute of the match Cup2 got a corner. ЦСКА's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Georgi Tasev ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Georgi Tasev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anzhelo Gerushin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th match minute, Cup2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georgi Tasev to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Skoroda in the 85th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Cup2's Téo Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anzhelo Gerushin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Belberov during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cup2 booed when ЦСКА was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Belberov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Cup2 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
