An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Holmgren in the 33rd minute of play forced Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper Amancio Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Afonsinho Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Ted Holmgren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Berni y Benja FC's Amancio Videl. After the first half Sundborn IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ted Holmgren was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kärim Benzine in the 58th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Ted Holmgren took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Amancio Videl to make any attempt to save it. After 95 minutes of play, Berni y Benja FC's Kärim Benzine made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kalle Askberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!
