The audience was convinced that William Rigg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristen Gulskov was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albinus Alking in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, The Valar's goalkeeper Emmanuel Canturri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Ree. The supporters of The Valar booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Albinus Alking shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Monks in Robes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Valar's performance. The match ended with a win for The Valar.
