The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Mouricio got free with Damian Tipinski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Enrique Mouricio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damian Tipinski, 1-0. When Gao Yong Zhen fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PicksBattle.com's protests and gave Gao Yong Zhen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Gao Yong Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jane Gubanec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Gitarriu got a freekick which was hit by Leroy Llorente. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Gitarriu from getting a goal against them. Zacharias Kavogiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Flor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Damian Tipinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to PicksBattle.com getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gao Yong Zhen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lundström in the 39th minute of play forced PicksBattle.com's goalkeeper Zacharias Kavogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacharias Kavogiannis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Alacuart in the 42nd minute of play. Roger Flor in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damian Tipinski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 45th minute PicksBattle.com were awarded a corner. Liviu Marinescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Liviu Marinescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski did a great save. Enrique Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Tipinski having to interfere.

The wind increased when Zelipe Lastras made the kick off in the second half. Damian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, PicksBattle.com's goalkeeper Zacharias Kavogiannis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frankie Yankovich. Zacharias Kavogiannis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Yankovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Damian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Flor in the 59th minute of the match. The corner led PicksBattle.com's Liviu Marinescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Tipinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 69th minute Frankie Yankovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacharias Kavogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, PicksBattle.com's Zacharias Kavogiannis got control of the ball when Joel Lundström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efthimis Giotopoulos hit a great ball. Roger Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gitarriu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PicksBattle.com.
