The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Perez during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FLA MQ BRASIL's Samuel Perez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, William Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Valar's supporters rose to their feet, but William Rigg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 minutes of play, The Valar's William Rigg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Aguiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Rigg in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute of the match Alfred Hajto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Aguiar skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the FLA MQ BRASIL defense, William Rigg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Aguiar. The FLA MQ BRASIL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Aguiar should have stopped the shot. William Rigg struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Joel Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Valar. 28 minutes into the match, FLA MQ BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Joel Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, The Valar's William Rigg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 33rd minute, William Rigg made a precise shot to the right of Joel Aguiar. FLA MQ BRASIL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Rigg in the 36th minute of play forced FLA MQ BRASIL's goalkeeper Joel Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 41st minute of play. William Rigg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joel Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half The Valar were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fabiano Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Joel Aguiar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Aguiar came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Valar's William Rigg. But to his dismay, William Rigg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Thanks to some nice moves William Rigg could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Joel Aguiar however easily saved by the left post. William Rigg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Aguiar came out and tried to block the shot, but William Rigg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 58th minute. William Rigg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Aguiar having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, William Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Valar's supporters rose to their feet, but William Rigg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FLA MQ BRASIL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when William Rigg scored to the left of an out of position Joel Aguiar, making the score, 0-7. William Rigg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Aguiar having to make a save. After having played for 68 minutes, William Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Valar's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Rigg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FLA MQ BRASIL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when William Rigg scored to the left of an out of position Joel Aguiar, making the score, 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as The Valar's Manwë Vala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Aguiar. That made the score 0-9 after 73 minutes of play. William Rigg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, William Rigg notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of FLA MQ BRASIL's Joel Aguiar. Joel Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, William Rigg took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Joel Aguiar to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-12 when William Rigg sped through FLA MQ BRASIL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Aguiar. In the 94th minute, William Rigg made a precise shot to the right of Joel Aguiar. FLA MQ BRASIL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. The Valar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
