Olle Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moïse Labruyère made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Lilian Thuram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Olle Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moïse Labruyère took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olle Jönsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Moïse Labruyère came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson. But to his dismay, Olle Jönsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Moïse Labruyère made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Jönsson in the 58th minute of play. Rolf Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilal Moutte in the 62nd minute of play. Rolf Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Djorkaeff in the 67th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Olle Jönsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Moïse Labruyère was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolf Pihlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Youri Djorkaeff in the 87th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Avel Vat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brutal DeLuxe.
