Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal and Ángel Mena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Dewaele in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yorrick Zoethout saved SV Balverliefd from getting behind. The RockCity F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, Felix van As notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of RockCity F.C.'s Cagua Seoane. Cagua Seoane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Mena in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Dewaele in the 24th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Dewaele in the 26th minute of play. RockCity F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Trynda in the 27th minute. The corner led to RockCity F.C.'s Damián Diaz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 29th minute Mario Dewaele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Homan got free with Cagua Seoane in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Homan in the 39th minute of play forced RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Cagua Seoane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Mario Dewaele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RockCity F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Balverliefd the free kick. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when RockCity F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Dewaele didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Dewaele to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykutalp Tecelli in the 53rd minute of play forced RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Cagua Seoane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Jyrki Kujanpää got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cagua Seoane quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ángel Mena. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Dewaele in the 74th minute of the match. RockCity F.C.'s Ramiro Larrea was substituted for Méndez Miñaca. In the 79th minute of the match RockCity F.C. got a corner. SV Balverliefd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Trynda ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Melker Gudmundsson fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Balverliefd's protests and gave Melker Gudmundsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Melker Gudmundsson. In the 85th minute of the match Zayveon Quiroz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yorrick Zoethout skillfully saved the ball. Cagua Seoane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Yorrick Zoethout was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Dewaele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. After a rather tough play, RockCity F.C.'s Philippe-Arnaud Matthijs got a free kick in the 94th minute.
