Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Homan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spencer Holder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when SV Balverliefd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huib Smit didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Elia in the 14th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şerafettin Akabe to maneuver through the defense. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Jerzyk in the 19th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Filip Jerzyk sped through SV Balverliefd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib Smit in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout got control of the ball when Filip Jerzyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Huib Smit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Nicolae hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Huib Smit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Aldo Marquez got a free kick in the 45th minute. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Homan in the 46th minute of play. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Elia in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Jerzyk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lincoln Hand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's Huib Smit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Spencer Holder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Jerzyk came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Elia in the 77th minute of the match. S.D. Bajen's Andrew Borgers was substituted for Mark Twainborg. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when SV Balverliefd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Lindelöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SV Balverliefd's zone, Filip Jerzyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal and Filip Jerzyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.D. Bajen fans cheered their team off the field, for while SV Balverliefd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
