In the 41st minute, Guillermo Escalona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Humberto Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moïse Labruyère stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Escobar's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Escobar made a kick off. Humberto Escobar scored 0-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moïse Labruyère, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Côme Rouquette to maneuver through the defense. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Humberto Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Escobar came free, but Moïse Labruyère reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moïse Labruyère showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Escalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Humberto Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moïse Labruyère was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 67 minutes, Guillermo Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Escalona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giancarlo Mora's late challenge caught a Avel Vat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giancarlo Mora helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Giancarlo Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moïse Labruyère was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Martín Ulloa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moïse Labruyère. That made the score 0-6 in the 76 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Humberto Escobar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moïse Labruyère. Avel Vat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Escobar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Moïse Labruyère showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Escalona, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moïse Labruyère. Moïse Labruyère yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Victorien Perbet kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Giancarlo Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moïse Labruyère showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Escalona in the 95th minute of the match. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
