When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Damián Diaz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Rolf Pihlgren to make any attempt to save it. Cagua Seoane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Mario Dewaele made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Pihlgren. Brutal DeLuxe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 36th minute, RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolf Pihlgren. Rolf Pihlgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ángel Mena got free with Rolf Pihlgren in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Brutal DeLuxe getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nils Lindkvist hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Mario Dewaele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Pihlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olle Jönsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, RockCity F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damián Diaz to maneuver through the defense. Brutal DeLuxe's Rune Bagge shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cagua Seoane but with some difficulty. 57 minutes into the match, Mario Dewaele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Pihlgren. Brutal DeLuxe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Dewaele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Mario Dewaele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Pihlgren having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Mario Dewaele notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren. Rolf Pihlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. RockCity F.C.'s Zayveon Quiroz was substituted for Fabian Reborio. 69 minutes into the match, Brutal DeLuxe's goal looked a bit too open when Ángel Mena came free, but Rolf Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Deckbergh's late challenge caught a RockCity F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kim Deckbergh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Deckbergh to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Trynda, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cagua Seoane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Blom in the 80th minute of the match. Rolf Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Dewaele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
