Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerafettin Akabe in the 9th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Şerafettin Akabe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Balverliefd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 17th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Lindelöf to maneuver through the defense. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Şerafettin Akabe who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Şerafettin Akabe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Benavides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Benavides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Martín Ulloa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Martín Ulloa a yellow card for diving instead. Martín Ulloa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a corner. SV Balverliefd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giancarlo Mora ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa to fire away a dangerous shot which Yorrick Zoethout despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ defense, Henk Veerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Benavides. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Benavides should have stopped the shot. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Ulloa in the 51st minute of the match. With his leg Juan Benavides managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when SV Balverliefd's Henk Veerman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th minute Humberto Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Henk Veerman in the 57thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Juan Benavides had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Homan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Benavides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Juan Benavides successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner ended in Şerafettin Akabe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides did a great save. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Escobar in the 68th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Benavides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Homan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Henk Veerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Steven Homan came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
