After 5 minutes Olinda FMZ DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tord Stolpe who took care of the corner kick. Krister Jonsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ixidor Lelerre having to make a save. After having played for 11 minutes, Manuel Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ixidor Lelerre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iraklis Rapanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ixidor Lelerre having to interfere. Krister Jonsson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ixidor Lelerre. Ixidor Lelerre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Stolpe in the 26th minute of play forced Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Krister Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ixidor Lelerre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Jonsson in the 34th minute of the match. Krister Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute Krister Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Belkå took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Raymon in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Belkå saved Lite Finare Lite Bättre from getting behind. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Jonsson in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ixidor Lelerre. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Manuel Sá hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Krister Jonsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ixidor Lelerre came out and tried to block the shot, but Krister Jonsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 73rd minute. Tim Sjögren hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Sebastião Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Belkå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ixidor Lelerre was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Krister Jonsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Krister Jonsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. After 83 played minutes Olinda FMZ DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Meira. In the 86th minute, Manuel Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes, Olinda FMZ DMZ's Wilian de Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Belkå came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olinda FMZ DMZ reached it. If Krister Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Jonsson. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lite Finare Lite Bättre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
