Flavio Dominix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Edinho Paraíba made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Goiano in the 17th minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Cipriano Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Goiano in the 17th minute of the match. Edinho Paraíba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severino Gomesano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Severino Gomesanos short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Edinho Paraíba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Abadie in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Falcão to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Alejo Orain sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Deivid Goiano got a free kick in the 37th minute. Cacá Cavalcante's late challenge caught a AKD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AKD booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, AKD's Severino Gomesano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edinho Paraíba. Edinho Paraíba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wit Chuchro was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 57th minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Cipriano Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Severino Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Reynaldo Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Deivid Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maverick Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Deivid Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Hulberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteban Ederono kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, AKD's Lucio Kepa made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Wit Chuchro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AKD's Cipriano Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Chuchro in the 97th minute of play.
