With a left leg Leopoldo Lastur saved Leones FC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Söderberg came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ime Mavros's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Sobania, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. KANONIERZY's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wilfredo Quinto 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's Ime Mavros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Lastur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Gösta Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Lastur should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Sabin in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Söderberg came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Abbiati was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Gaspar Sabin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaspar Sabin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ime Mavros in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Lastur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marian Sobania might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Lastur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Sobania ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Ime Mavros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leopoldo Lastur, 2-3. In the 64th minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Gösta Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Lastur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. When the final whistle sounded KANONIERZY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leones FC.
