In the 17th minute Wilfredo Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Lin Yi in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Nicolas Bizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Richie to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kang Lin Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 91st match minute, Nacional de Rolândia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Martin Asier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Nacional de Rolândia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
