José Alejandro Seisdedos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Gümüşsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes BEŞİKTAŞK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobías Rocuant who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Juan Luis Illescas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Berke Gümüşsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEŞİKTAŞK's supporters rose to their feet, but Berke Gümüşsoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Alejandro Seisdedos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berke Gümüşsoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Alejandro Seisdedos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berke Gümüşsoy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute Berke Gümüşsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Alejandro Seisdedos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berke Gümüşsoy scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Alejandro Seisdedos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Alejandro Seisdedos came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞK's Berke Gümüşsoy. But to his dismay, Berke Gümüşsoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞK's Berke Gümüşsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Alejandro Seisdedos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞK's Abel Pitin got a free kick in the 29th minute. Arda Göksel Yalman made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Soso Cheishvili sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match Club Deportes La Serena got a corner. BEŞİKTAŞK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobías Rocuant ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tobías Rocuant got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arda Göksel Yalman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute, Berke Gümüşsoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BEŞİKTAŞK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 37 minutes of play, BEŞİKTAŞK's Berke Gümüşsoy made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Alejandro Seisdedos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berke Gümüşsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. José Alejandro Seisdedos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Fazzini to make the kick off. If Berke Gümüşsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute of the match, Berke Gümüşsoy got a very nice opportunity to score, but José Alejandro Seisdedos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Said Hamed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BEŞİKTAŞK's Özkan Dönmez was substituted for Harun Elçin. BEŞİKTAŞK's Okan Koc was substituted for Vicente Arias. Club Deportes La Serena made a substitution. Oriol Mora replaced Tobías Rocuant. After 68 played minutes Club Deportes La Serena got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Fazzini. Chen Jun Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but José Alejandro Seisdedos made a huge save. Arda Göksel Yalman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remco van den Bergh in the 87th minute of the match. Arda Göksel Yalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Garzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. José Alejandro Seisdedos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. BEŞİKTAŞK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
