The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stenman in the 8th minute of play forced Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Lillbo BK got a freekick which was hit by David Frisck. 29 minutes into the match, Lillbo BK's goalkeeper Dennis Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brice Gamble. In the 32nd minute, Yu Jie Xing made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Josefsson. Lillbo BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Lillbo BK's goalkeeper Dennis Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Jie Xing. If Gino Tonić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lillbo BK's Dennis Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lillbo BK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Lillbo BK's Dennis Josefsson got control of the ball when Yu Jie Xing tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Stenman to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Staffy Terrier FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Yu Jie Xing hit a great ball. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Jansson in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Lillbo BK's Karl-Oskar Eriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clive Holloway made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dennis Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Jie Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. David Frisck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Clive Holloway made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Lillbo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Gower came free, but Dennis Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Yu Jie Xing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffy Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yu Jie Xing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Josefsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Isac Jansson in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Staffy Terrier FC's Oakley Smith. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stenman in the 85th minute of play forced Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Middleton's late challenge caught a Lillbo BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyle Middleton helped the player get up and apologised. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
