Eugen Remus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Alderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jonathan Hoffmann made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Will Alderson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Greenbay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jonathan Hoffmann was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Will Alderson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Will Alderson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Will Alderson was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Atomy de Rondônia's goal looked a bit too open when Will Alderson came free, but Jonathan Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Greenbay's protests and gave Romeo Morrell a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Morrell kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atomy de Rondônia's zone, Will Alderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Hoffmann came out of the goal and Will Alderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atomy de Rondônia's Jonathan Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdi Başesgioğlu in the 64th minute of play. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Gogo Claris with Chico Maranhense as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Alderson in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Will Alderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Greenbay getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lu Wagner hit a great ball. Paulo Bastos might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugen Remus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Bastos ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, Gogo Claris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atomy de Rondônia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greenbay the free kick. Gogo Claris hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Greenbay's Eugen Remus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Falcão in the 93rd minute of play. Atomy de Rondônia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
