Vinícius Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Alderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. But to his dismay, Will Alderson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinícius Sergipano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Barreto in the 72nd minute of play. Ruben Sheehan might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinícius Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Sheehan ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinícius Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Vecdi Başesgioğlu sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Greenbay's corner Ruben Sheehan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vinícius Sergipano quite easily take care of the ball. Falcão Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Itaberaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Barreto to maneuver through the defense. When Noel Costa fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaberaba's protests and gave Noel Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Noel Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Itaberaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greenbay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
