In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Patrick Knechtli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bircan Hicab, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Patrick Knechtli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bircan Hicab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Knechtli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bircan Hicab's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Sungurhan Özdek made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Téo Savion sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Raik Topuz made the kick off in the second half. Patrick Knechtli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bircan Hicab's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Herve Muller came free, but Sungurhan Özdek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Medero Gadea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungurhan Özdek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aktuğ Çoğun in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Knechtli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aktuğ Çoğun might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Knechtli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aktuğ Çoğun ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Knechtli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erberk Sarik, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Stutz to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktuğ Çoğun in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ADANA DEMİR SPOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
