Ray Atkins was slow to take the kick. During this time Korona Kielce's players had a chance to rest. Ray Atkins made a great header on Korona Kielce's corner, it was just that Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli managed to reach the ball for a save. Patrick Knechtli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alex Macedo sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Korona Kielce's Ray Atkins to fire away a dangerous shot which Patrick Knechtli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Macedo got free with Patrick Knechtli in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rdth minute of the game Alex Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 36 in the game by Alex Macedo from a close distance when the talented Patrick Knechtli managed to make a qualified save. Olympique Fribourg's players were relieved. Alex Macedo had several of the Olympique Fribourg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Macedos short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Patrick Knechtli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Alex Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matt Metzger's late challenge caught a Korona Kielce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matt Metzger helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Matt Metzger. Seb Hedges scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Knechtli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 98 minutes Olympique Fribourg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ray Atkins who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Korona Kielce's corner Ray Atkins fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrick Knechtli quite easily take care of the ball. Korona Kielce's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
