Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Alsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Alsua in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Wessel saved The Underdogs from getting behind. Riemer Fries made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ............'s Jacinto Pineros. ............'s Roman Masharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Olalla in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Arnaldo Alsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dolf Schoonderwoerd got free with Roman Masharov in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Alsua took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Alsua in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Wessel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Masharov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Arnaldo Alsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ............'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Achenbach in the 29th minute. Vicente Gentil hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Arnaldo Alsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute Arnaldo Alsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riemer Fries during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ............ booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riemer Fries didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Alsua took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jan Wessel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Alsua's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. A collision led to ............ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lino Pacorro hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piearres Olalla made a kick off. Arnaldo Alsua scored 0-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Wessel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Alsua had several of the The Underdogs's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Jan Wessel as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jan Wessel made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Duncan Snow sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Masharov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Arnaldo Alsua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wessel came out of the goal and Arnaldo Alsua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Ed Palsma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Underdogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ............ the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Ed Palsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Wessel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Peter Achenbach. Piearres Olalla scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Masharov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arnaldo Alsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Alsua in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, André Luiz Linares threw the ball into play from the sideline. ............'s Jacinto Pineros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arnaldo Alsua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jan Wessel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Alsua in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Wessel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, ............'s goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Olalla came free, but Roman Masharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Alsua in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, ............'s Arnaldo Alsua made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Wessel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The The Underdogs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ............ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
