In the 6th minute of the match C. A. Balnearia got a corner. Arquímedes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Frantzes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Damian Frantzes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arquímedes's Jeremias Cordario did a great save. In the 7th minute Domingo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Nabar in the 10th minute of play. Jeremias Cordario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tugay Özyurek in the 11th minute. Emilio Tartalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Nabar in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, C. A. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
