The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michal Banan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gavino Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Barto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Roland Alström made a huge save. Cipriano Llorian came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roland Alström could save by the left post. Gavino Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Banan in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by KAMILOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cipriano Llorian was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Espartillar's players had a chance to rest. Real Espartillar's Cipriano Llorian was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roland Alström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roland Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Răuțchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gavino Iratxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerzy Blicharz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Roland Alström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Llorian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jerzy Blicharz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Răuțchi took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Alström. The crowd rose to their feet as KAMILOS's Michal Banan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gavino Iratxo. That made the score 1-1 after 55 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Espartillar's zone, Michal Banan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Iratxo came out of the goal and Michal Banan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KAMILOS's Roland Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Răuțchi in the 60th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jaroslaw Majdoch in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Espartillar's Lucio Gitano. Gavino Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Blicharz in the 68th minute of play. When KAMILOS's Jerzy Blicharz in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th minute, KAMILOS's Michal Banan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavino Iratxo. After a defensive mix-up in KAMILOS's zone, Albano Garoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Alström came out of the goal and Albano Garoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KAMILOS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
