Soner Turking might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bayan Bonzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Soner Turking ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute Soner Turking shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Bonzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandez Vizcarreto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bayan Bonzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soner Turking, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Soner Turking came free, but Bayan Bonzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Dragón F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alan Petersen in the 11th minute. Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clarence Pumaren in the 12th minute of play. Hilario Pesquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clarence Pumaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s goalkeeper Bayan Bonzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Soner Turking came free, but Bayan Bonzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Petersen made a great header on Golden Dragón F.C's corner, it was just that Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Bayan Bonzon managed to reach the ball for a save. Soner Turking received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bayan Bonzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Soner Turking had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bayan Bonzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soner Turking, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera got control of the ball when Clarence Pumaren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Kyoto Sanga F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clarence Pumaren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Pesquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henriqua Tucay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Aureliusz Vaabengaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Turking in the 46th minute of play forced Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s goalkeeper Bayan Bonzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Soner Turking notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Bayan Bonzon. Bayan Bonzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After some careless play in the Kyoto Sanga F.C. defense, Soner Turking kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayan Bonzon. The Kyoto Sanga F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayan Bonzon should have stopped the shot. Bayan Bonzon came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Soner Turking. But to his dismay, Soner Turking quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 66 played minutes Kyoto Sanga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pangalanan. Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet was substituted for Soner Turking. After 67 played minutes Kyoto Sanga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pangalanan. With his leg Bayan Bonzon managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Golden Dragón F.C's Xamo Melic was substituted for Alan Petersen. In the 71st minute Golden Dragón F.C were awarded a corner. Ceyhan Celvet went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fernandez Vizcarreto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bayan Bonzon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceyhan Celvet got free with Bayan Bonzon in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bayan Bonzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camerino Luey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayan Bonzon came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Dragón F.C's Camerino Luey. But to his dismay, Camerino Luey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Golden Dragón F.C's Camerino Luey got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Golden Dragón F.C's Camerino Luey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bayan Bonzon. Bayan Bonzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Golden Dragón F.C played a much better game than Kyoto Sanga F.C. and deserved their victory. The Kyoto Sanga F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
