I.'s attentive Wilfredo Uxio managed to snatch the ball when Victorino Balondo made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Anibal Lluques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayan Bonzon was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clarence Pumaren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bayan Bonzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 75th match minute, Kyoto Sanga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Balondo to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, Anibal Lluques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bayan Bonzon. In the 79th minute Archie Balabagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Lluques in the 92nd minute of play forced Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s goalkeeper Bayan Bonzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Q. T. I.'s Maximino Lorenz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bayan Bonzon. Bayan Bonzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The supporters of Kyoto Sanga F.C. booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Q. T. I. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kyoto Sanga F.C..
