Toni Kroos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Lopes having to interfere. Cauã Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Kroos, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Ortle Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauã Lopes. 11 Schéin Männer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ortle Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 Schéin Männer's Cauã Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Jucha in the 13th minute of play. After 17 played minutes 11 Schéin Männer got a freekick which was hit by Thibault Drachmann. In the 21st minute, Damazy Jucha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauã Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Boleslaw Slazak fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modlau's protests and gave Boleslaw Slazak a yellow card for diving instead. Boleslaw Slazak hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 11 Schéin Männer's Ivo Projkov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zula Puszynski in the 30 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 33rd minute of play forced 11 Schéin Männer's goalkeeper Cauã Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ortle Sancho's late challenge caught a 11 Schéin Männer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ortle Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Ortle Sancho got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cauã Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Jucha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 11 Schéin Männer getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ralf Majerus hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry McCray to strike the kick off in the second half. Cauã Lopes was a little too slow when Ortle Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-3. Modlau's Zula Puszynski got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes, Ralf Majerus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 11 Schéin Männer and the Modlau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ralf Majerus kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, 11 Schéin Männer's Ivo Projkov got a free kick in the 59th minute. Zula Puszynski got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cauã Lopes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cauã Lopes was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Toni Kroos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toni Kroos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Damazy Jucha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cauã Lopes came out and tried to block the shot, but Damazy Jucha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 69th minute. Ralf Majerus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match, Ortle Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cauã Lopes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the 11 Schéin Männer defense, Barry McCray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauã Lopes. The 11 Schéin Männer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauã Lopes should have stopped the shot. 11 Schéin Männer's Cauã Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save 11 Schéin Männer from getting a goal against them. Ortle Sancho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Toni Kroos took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Cauã Lopes to make any attempt to save it. Cauã Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 91st minute of play. Cauã Lopes stood somewhat misplaced when Ortle Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 95 minute. Modlau's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
