An unexpectedly hard shot by Nimród Szőcs in the 10th minute of play forced Mota 2017's goalkeeper Torgeir Phan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Juan Alvarenga made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Leite in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgeir Phan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cöpacabana FC's Juan Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Cöpacabana FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Couto in the 33rd minute. Cauan de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Talha İstanbul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torgeir Phan skillfully saved the ball. Juan Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tulio Negovanović during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mota 2017's Tulio Negovanović got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Couto to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilmar Martins hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário de Lara in the 76th minute of play forced Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Juan Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nimród Szőcs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgeir Phan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nimród Szőcs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torgeir Phan came out and tried to block the shot, but Nimród Szőcs slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Leite came free, but Torgeir Phan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cöpacabana FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
