Julio Erramun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Måns Sandberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gogo Hug having to make a save. In the 9th minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Ekström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 15th minute of play forced TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Gogo Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Hug came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg. But to his dismay, Måns Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Måns Sandberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gogo Hug. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Måns Sandberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Gotzon in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Måns Sandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gogo Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lebron in the 28th minute of play forced TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Gogo Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norrlands Athen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filcho Slivkov in the 31st minute. Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gogo Hug in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manfred Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Udalaitz in the 33rd minute of the match. Gogo Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Norrlands Athen were awarded a corner. Filcho Slivkov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Norrlands Athen's Jacinto da Silveira to fire away a dangerous shot which Gogo Hug despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tolek Burowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manfred Fribäck firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute of the match Anselmo Gotzon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manfred Fribäck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Norrlands Athen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Gogo Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Lebron. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Udalaitz in the 54th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Manfred Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Måns Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gogo Hug made a huge save. Måns Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norrlands Athen's Frank Berglund suffered a concussion in the 73rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 73 minutes into the game, Morel Rial was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrlands Athen the free kick. After 74 played minutes TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Morel Rial. Norrlands Athen's Manfred Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morel Rial in the 77th minute of play. Gogo Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Hermansson in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Mazuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Gilbert Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfred Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Gotzon in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gogo Hug was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Gilbert Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Gilbert Hermansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Norrlands Athen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Norrlands Athen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
