Kamber Aktaş came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jarl Bredberg could save by the left post. In the 47thth minute of the game Apoena Herrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independente AC's Cássio Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independente AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gil Talavera was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Blåvitt's players had a chance to rest. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Gil Talavera took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio Dionísio. Cássio Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gil Talavera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Cássio Dionísio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blåvitt's zone, Hermínio Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Bredberg came out of the goal and Hermínio Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Independente AC's goal looked a bit too open when Apoena Herrero came free, but Cássio Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Independente AC's Sebastiaan Dijkman was substituted for Camillo Sciarretta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Talavera got free with Cássio Dionísio in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarl Bredberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastiaan Dijkman went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Corrêa came free, but Jarl Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Hermínio Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Independente AC's Silvinho Corrêa got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dag Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cássio Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Independente AC's goalkeeper Cássio Dionísio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apoena Herrero. When Independente AC's Kamber Aktaş in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Blåvitt's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
