In the 43rd minute, Magallanes's Anacleto Dessauer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seppe Dobbeleir. Seppe Dobbeleir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 庄寒谦 to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Asarum defense, Juan Mondaca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seppe Dobbeleir. The Asarum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seppe Dobbeleir should have stopped the shot. The Magallanes fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Magallanes's Juan Mondaca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Asarum's Seppe Dobbeleir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Mondaca in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Magallanes got a corner. Asarum's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seran Turres ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Asarum's goalie and right to Guille Aravena. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Asarum's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of Asarum booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seran Turres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Juan Mondaca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Magallanes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
