When Luizinho Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uno Mille FC's protests and gave Luizinho Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Uno Mille FC's zone, Krister Säf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga came out of the goal and Krister Säf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koppány Novák's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Koppány Novák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Krister Säf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Célio Souza made a kick off. Uno Mille FC's Carlos Fernando Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Novák in the 70th minute of play. Allan Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Bäckström having to make a save. Durvalino Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koppány Novák in the 96th minute of play. Hawelka Himalayan High played a much better game than Uno Mille FC and deserved their victory. The Uno Mille FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
