If Gabriel Măliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Radovan in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Forsberg saved Pepsi FC from getting behind. Gabriel Măliță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Christer Forsberg made a huge save. Iustin Radovan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Christer Forsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purcaresti CSS. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hu Sheng Nan sped through Purcaresti CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cătălin Trică. Christer Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Radovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Forsberg was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Iustin Radovan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iustin Radovan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Cătălin Trică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Stensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Iustin Radovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Purcaresti CSS were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Pepsi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Zamfirescu took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Nistor Anton advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-1 in the 40th minute. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Pepsi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Nistor Anton put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christer Forsberg. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Radovan made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Pepsi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Stensson to maneuver through the defense. Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Radovan in the 54th minute of play. Purcaresti CSS were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Pepsi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Zamfirescu took the corner. In the 62nd minute, Sture Stensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Nistor Anton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Forsberg. Pepsi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Anton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After a rather tough play, Pepsi FC's Allan Hedman got a free kick in the 69th minute. Christer Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Zamfirescu in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nistor Anton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purcaresti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Anton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Iustin Radovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Arce hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Gabriel Măliță got a free kick in the 85th minute. Andréas Stigsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Nistor Anton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sture Stensson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pepsi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sture Stensson couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Andrei Dumitrache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purcaresti CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pepsi FC the free kick. Andrei Dumitrache hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Purcaresti CSS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pepsi FC for a fine match.
