The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Borja might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Allende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Borja ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Oswaldo Allende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Borja. Alvise Cerrone made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Maciej Kaznocha however managed to control. In the 11th minute, Miguel Borja reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oswaldo Allende. The goal made the score 1-0. Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Iglesias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GG Team FC's Dino Baggio got a free kick in the 17th minute. After recieving a nice pass, YerBaTerOs's Ascencio Puente tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Oswaldo Allende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Borja. Miguel Borja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Allende made a huge save. GG Team FC's Miguel Borja got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Borja got free with Oswaldo Allende in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Iglesias in the 35th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Amedeo Circelli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswaldo Allende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oswaldo Allende made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Miguel Borja sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the game, YerBaTerOs's Ruben Iglesias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Montini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Oswaldo Allende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Circelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 68 played minutes YerBaTerOs got a freekick which was hit by Arévalo Urrutia. GG Team FC's Dave De Bartolo was substituted for Miguel Borja. In the 81st minute Lucio Bruna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Bruna, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Amedeo Circelli's late challenge caught a YerBaTerOs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Circelli helped the player get up and apologised. GG Team FC's Hassan Marcou was substituted for Bianco Zarillo. A collision led to GG Team FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Amedeo Circelli hit a great ball.
