Bernardo Scandella hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. International Thunders were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after GG Team FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julien-Nils Freeh took the corner. After taking down the ball on International Thunders's corner Nichifor Borăscu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fortunato Montini quite easily take care of the ball. Fortunato Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Fortunato Montini made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jelle Knopper sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Borja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rouven Nussli having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Borja came free, but Rouven Nussli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Montini made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jelle Knopper sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Damm to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Montini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Damm in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Costa came free, but Fortunato Montini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Damm in the 38th minute of play. Fortunato Montini made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jelle Knopper sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Miguel Borja made the kick off in the second half. Arthur Damm kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Borja got free with Rouven Nussli in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortunato Montini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Costa in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Percival Costa made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Montini. GG Team FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelle Knopper in the 59th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jelle Knopper came free, but Fortunato Montini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save International Thunders from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Scandella charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Scandella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GG Team FC's Bernardo Scandella got a free kick in the 76th minute. GG Team FC's Szymon Raschke was substituted for Miguel Borja. Szymon Raschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rouven Nussli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Montini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GG Team FC made a substitution. Dave De Bartolo replaced Bianco Zarillo. GG Team FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
