Joris Callens kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Eriberto Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U.S.Normande's Mikael Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Telo in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Mellberg got free with Omar Cristofol in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Telo in the 48th minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri Borderie to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes U.S.Normande got a freekick which was hit by Joris Callens. After a rather tough play, U.S.Normande's Aymerick Tourrette got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lennart Danekjær could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mikael Damm made a huge save. Mikael Damm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Danekjær in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Danekjær in the 83rd minute of play forced U.S.Normande's goalkeeper Mikael Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
