The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaime Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Higinio Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Telo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Brion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Cabanela in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Brion saved Carboncito from getting behind. After having played for 10 minutes, Norberto Cabanela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Cabanela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clodoveo Aureo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Norberto Cabanela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Cabanela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Denis Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Brion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Denis Eudoxio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Brion was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Carboncito booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to RÚSTICOS F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jaime Telo hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Carboncito's Higinio Brion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Carboncito from getting a goal against them. Domingo Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Cosme Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Edelmiro Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Carboncito's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Cabanela came free, but Higinio Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Norberto Cabanela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Brion was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. If Jaime Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Prejun's late challenge caught a RÚSTICOS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edelmiro Prejun helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Telo in the 74th minute of play forced Carboncito's goalkeeper Higinio Brion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Cabanela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Brion came out and tried to block the shot, but Norberto Cabanela slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. RÚSTICOS F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Vachon in the 81st minute. After taking down the ball on RÚSTICOS F.C's corner Eriberto Vachon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Higinio Brion quite easily take care of the ball. Higinio Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Cabanela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
