In the 46th minute, Fred Battini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carboncito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youri Borderie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 96th minute Bengt-Rune Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
