The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baba Moco in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulisses Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulisses Souza came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Baba Moco. But to his dismay, Baba Moco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 11 minutes, Baba Moco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baba Moco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Loyola came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hildeberto Portugal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Vladimir Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Baba Moco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Baba Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corti's Ulisses Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baba Moco in the 37th minute of play. Ulisses Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baba Moco's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Angelo Loyola's late challenge caught a UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Corti getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Angelo Loyola hit a great ball. Corti's Ulisses Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baba Moco in the 41st minute of play. Ulisses Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baba Moco in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Maicon Marinho threw the ball into play from the sideline. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Ken vrolix quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 47th minute Baba Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Baba Moco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corti's Ulisses Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Diguinho de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baba Moco in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Souza saved Corti from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Baba Moco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulisses Souza. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 60th minute of the match, Baba Moco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ulisses Souza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulisses Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baba Moco in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Corti's Ulisses Souza got control of the ball when Baba Moco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baba Moco took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulisses Souza. Ulisses Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baba Moco in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Souza saved Corti from getting behind. In the 79thth minute of the game Baba Moco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corti's Ulisses Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Corti's goalkeeper Ulisses Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Baba Moco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulisses Souza. The goal made the score 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Flavinho Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ulisses Souza came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Baba Moco. But to his dismay, Baba Moco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
