After having played for 22 minutes, Aquiles Gana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Morena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Gana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bermund Arruda during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tristan Bétourne came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Morena's Aquiles Gana. But to his dismay, Aquiles Gana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, AC Morena's Ferdinando De Simone got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Edoardo Filippini came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Royal PSG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Filippini couldn't finish the play. AC Morena's Ercole Carosella managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bermund Arruda in the 43 minute of the game. After 45 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Flavien Villemin. In the 47th minute, Fred Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edoardo Filippini to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Edoardo Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ciccio Di Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Izard succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 72nd playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 74th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Morena were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Royal PSG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ercole Carosella took the corner. After taking down the ball on AC Morena's corner Ercole Carosella fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tristan Bétourne quite easily take care of the ball. After 78 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Bermund Arruda. If Aquiles Gana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tristan Bétourne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Gana in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes, Aquiles Gana made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Fonseca in the 89th minute of play. Alex Cellucci's late challenge caught a Royal PSG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Cellucci helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Morena's Alex Cellucci got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Izard came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Gana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Bétourne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. AC Morena's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ercole Carosella in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Royal PSG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Morena.
