The crowd rose to their feet as Angelo Loyola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raimundo Obano. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Arturo Perpinya took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulisses Souza. Ulisses Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, LA InDuStRiA INC's Ricardo Rencio got a free kick in the 34th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Cristobal Lalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ulisses Souza made a huge save. Raimundo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Gaspar in the 55th minute of play. Cristobal Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute Adriano Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Loyola in the 80th minute of the match. 88 minutes in the game Maicon Marinho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adriano Leite. Corti's Ulisses Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Corti from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute of the match LA InDuStRiA INC got a corner. Corti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rachid Strauß ran over to the corner to take the kick. LA InDuStRiA INC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Corti's much stronger midfield.
