The audience was convinced that Chucho Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrianus Tambunan was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, Lucjan Golaszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrianus Tambunan. In the 40th minute Chucho Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Burni came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Eleder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Pancho Lemos came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Del Santo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
