The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Gozilla's zone, Silverio Lavalle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacy Jazowski came out of the goal and Silverio Lavalle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gozilla's Ignacy Jazowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Lavalle in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vaggelis Malesios who took care of the corner kick. Gozilla's Vaggelis Malesios was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramon Lavalle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lavalle came free, but Ignacy Jazowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Lavalle in the 21st minute of play forced Gozilla's goalkeeper Ignacy Jazowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacy Jazowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Lavalle in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Stathis Panagakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Lavalle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ramon Lavalle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Lavalle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Panagakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vaggelis Malesios was slow to take the kick. During this time Gozilla's players had a chance to rest. If Candido Lavalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Lavalle. Ramon Lavalle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ignacy Jazowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Lavalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacy Jazowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Lavalle in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Ramon Lavalle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vaggelis Malesios was slow to take the kick. During this time Gozilla's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stathis Panagakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramon Lavalle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Panagakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gozilla getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Valentinos Skiadopoulos hit a great ball. Ramon Lavalle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Panagakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Stathis Panagakis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ramon Lavalle. Ramon Lavalle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Gozilla's Ignacy Jazowski got control of the ball when Haroldo Lavalle tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lavalle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignacy Jazowski. Haroldo Lavalle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Gozilla's Ignacy Jazowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Gozilla from getting a goal against them. Vaggelis Malesios kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gozilla's zone, Tomas Lavalle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacy Jazowski came out of the goal and Tomas Lavalle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gozilla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE for a fine match.
