Robert Wnukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Wnukowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Minho FC's André Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hieronim Mentis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Magno Aparecido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hieronim Mentis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. André Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 19th minute of the match. Radomiak Radom's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Wnukowski in the 22nd minute. Hieronim Mentis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Aparecido in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Radomiak Radom's Dragoş Brădean got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Hieronim Mentis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Wnukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hieronim Mentis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minho FC. André Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magno Aparecido was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Magno Aparecido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hieronim Mentis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Yu Ran Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Wnukowski in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Robert Wnukowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg André Figueiredo managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. André Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski. But to his dismay, Robert Wnukowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Minho FC's Hélder Soveral was substituted for Magno Aparecido. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Hieronim Mentis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
