Erubiel Fraco ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Doran in the 16th minute of play forced Beckham23's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Efe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Golden Hills's goalie and right to David Bernad. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Golden Hills's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Beckham23's Mehmet Oğuz Efe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Doran in the 24th minute of play. Egil Östlund made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when David Bernad sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match Beckham23 got a corner. Golden Hills's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erubiel Fraco ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st match minute, Beckham23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Santana to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, David Bernad put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Egil Östlund. David Bernad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Egil Östlund made a huge save. Egil Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Egil Östlund made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when David Bernad sent off a good shot on target. Egil Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Kapinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Beckham23's Mehmet Oğuz Efe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Beckham23 from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Hills's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erubiel Fraco was slow to take the kick. During this time Beckham23's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Erubiel Fraco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Egil Östlund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ward Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Hills's supporters rose to their feet, but Ward Doran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Oğuz Efe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Oğuz Efe had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Rupert McCormick's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Rupert McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert McCormick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bernad in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Östlund saved Golden Hills from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bernad in the 77th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Beckham23 booed when Golden Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerold Brownell didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Bernad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Beckham23 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Golden Hills had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
