Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zack Doughty started the match with the kick off. Syd Cullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Coventry Wasps's Syd Cullen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Patxi in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chute de Ouro FC defense, Zack Doughty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Echegoyen. The Chute de Ouro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Echegoyen should have stopped the shot. Tor Echegoyen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Booth in the 25th minute. Syd Cullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Patxi in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Patxi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Syd Cullen saved Coventry Wasps from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Chute de Ouro FC's Amador Patxi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Syd Cullen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Doughty in the 43rd minute of play forced Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raf Vermaelen kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Benê Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Patxi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Chute de Ouro FC's Amador Patxi in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coventry Wasps's goalie prevented a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Mateusz Øager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor Echegoyen. Chute de Ouro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateusz Øager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. John Moyle replaced Zack Doughty. After a defensive mix-up in Chute de Ouro FC's zone, John Moyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tor Echegoyen came out of the goal and John Moyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Syd Cullen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With an all-out effort, Chute de Ouro FC's Syd Cullen threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amador Patxi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Simion in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Syd Cullen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Camilo Ferrara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coventry Wasps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tor Echegoyen came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Camilo Ferrara. But to his dismay, Camilo Ferrara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 94th match minute, Coventry Wasps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Moyle to maneuver through the defense. Syd Cullen made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eric Simion sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute of the match, Amador Patxi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Syd Cullen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Coventry Wasps were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chute de Ouro FC for a fine match.
