The supporters of Toby Futbol Club booed when Chute de Ouro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Simion in the 8th minute of play. Eric Simion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnoldo Cordeiro. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. The supporters of Chute de Ouro FC booed when Toby Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Chute de Ouro FC's Amador Patxi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnoldo Cordeiro. Arnoldo Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 24th minute Eric Simion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Amador Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Patxi to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Simion in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Cordeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute Amador Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Eric Simion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Arnoldo Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Simion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Arnoldo Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Patxi's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Patxi in the 62nd minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnoldo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Simion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Arnoldo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Eric Simion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnoldo Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Chute de Ouro FC's Ivo Simões to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Cordeiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 82 minutes, Raimundo Brion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toby Futbol Club and the Chute de Ouro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Simões in the 83rd minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnoldo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Tătaru in the 93rd minute of play forced Toby Futbol Club's goalkeeper Arnoldo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Simões in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Cordeiro saved Toby Futbol Club from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chute de Ouro FC fully deserved thier win.
