The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Lencastre got free with Oscar Tande in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 100 Chance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremio Viana the free kick. Domingos Lencastre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Tande having to make a save. Oscar Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Lencastre in the 15th minute of play. Domingos Lencastre struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Oscar Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana. If Domingos Lencastre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Domingos Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Leite took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Tande. 100 Chance's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tony Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Oscar Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 35 minutes into the game, Domingos Lencastre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Oscar Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingos Lencastre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Oscar Tande skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes into the match, Domingos Lencastre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Tande, 5-0. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Crognale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Berger made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Domingos Lencastre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 63rd play minutes Domingos Lencastre shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Oscar Tande and just under the crossbar into goal. Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Påk came free, but Oscar Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Gremio Viana's Domingos Lencastre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Domingos Lencastre put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Tande. Gremio Viana's Joaquim Paredes was substituted for Domingos Lencastre. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Teixeira during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when 100 Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Braga in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Fiúza saved Gremio Viana from getting behind. Oscar Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Berger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Fiúza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Gremio Viana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
