An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lundberg in the 10th minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Alvaro Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 12th minute of play. Alvaro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A nice corner shot did that Stefan Eriksson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Valente quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alvaro Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Blåvitt's Örjan Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Valente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Örjan Johansson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Feliciano Baumar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 28th playminute. 31 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Lundberg came free, but Alvaro Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Baumar got free with Mike Cassar Torreggiani in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mike Cassar Torreggiani was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Feliciano Baumar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Feliciano Baumar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. 42 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Min came free, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scofield's goalkeeper Alvaro Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Scofield's Alvaro Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Lundberg in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Örjan Johansson made a kick off. With a little luck, Scofield's Alvaro Valente got control of the ball when Örjan Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Blåvitt booed when Scofield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rens Van Eyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Enetz. Feliciano Baumar might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mike Cassar Torreggiani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Baumar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Feliciano Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scofield made a substitution. Cayetano Urdin replaced Feliciano Baumar. 71 minutes into the game, Kevin Ekberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Scofield's Emilio Etxatxu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The throw-in from Kevin Ekberg in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Scofield's Angelo Enetz. In the 75th match minute, Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Burman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Urdin in the 76th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Mike Cassar Torreggiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gösta Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
